I’ve been an DBA for 8 years working on mainly Oracle and some SQL Server, Recently I decided to get involved in the Oracle community primarily as a way to order some of the material I have in various notebooks, scripts and in my head. Recently I presented a topic* at the UKOUG conference 2008 after reading on Tom Kytes blog that “everyone has something to contribute”, as it happens despite being the first time I’ve done anything of the sort things went fairly well so blogging seems like the next logical thing to do.
